Eyeglass Collection

Collecting used eyeglasses so they can be recycled and put to good use through Lions service networks.

What We’re Working On

  • We maintain eyeglass collection efforts in the community and deliver collected glasses for processing.
  • Members monitor drop-box effectiveness and look for better collection locations when needed.
  • This gives the public an easy, meaningful way to support Lions service.

Current Needs

  • Visible community collection locations.
  • Partners willing to host collection boxes.
  • More public participation through eyeglass donations.

How the Community Can Help

  • Donate used eyeglasses.
  • Offer your business, church, school, or office as a collection site.
  • Help spread the word about where donations can be dropped off.
